Dionne Tucker

August 2026

My name is Dionne Tucker, and I’m AVP of Field Marketing at Tower Hill Insurance.

My Role and Background

My career in insurance has spanned more than three decades, but my passion has always been about people. Marketing, to me, isn’t about creating advertisements—it’s about building trust, listening, and helping others succeed.

I love connecting with people, understanding their businesses, and finding ways to help them grow. That’s what drew me to field marketing, and it’s what still energizes me today.

Interestingly, my Tower Hill story began long before I became an employee.

Before joining Tower Hill 12 years ago, I spent 22 years working for a family-owned independent insurance agency where I proudly represented Tower Hill. I had the opportunity to see firsthand what made the company different. Even then, Tower Hill stood out because of its commitment to relationships, responsiveness, and doing the right thing.

When the opportunity at Tower Hill came along, it just felt right. The company’s reputation, culture, and commitment to its agents aligned with the kind of organization I wanted to be part of. Looking back, it was one of the best career decisions I’ve made.

As AVP of Field Marketing, no two days are exactly alike, which is one of the things I enjoy most about my role. My responsibilities include collaborating with underwriting and leadership, supporting strategic initiatives, analyzing agency performance, and working directly with our agency partners to identify opportunities for mutual growth. Every day is centered around helping our agents succeed while ensuring we’re aligned with Tower Hill’s overall business objectives.

What I enjoy most is knowing that our Field Marketing team is a resource and a partner for our agents. Business goals matter, but trust takes years to earn, and I’m proud of the relationships we’ve built over the years.

“The best partnerships are built on trust, consistency, and showing up when it matters most.”

Building Strong Relationships

Our Field Marketing team is often the face of Tower Hill for many of our agency partners. We listen, educate, problem-solve, communicate, and advocate. Whether we’re introducing new products, helping agencies navigate market changes, or simply being available when they need us, our goal is to make doing business with Tower Hill easier.

Having spent over two decades on the agency side myself, I understand the pressures agents face every day. That perspective helps me lead with empathy and reminds me that the best partnerships are built on trust and communication.

Our agency partners aren’t just distribution channels—they’re trusted business partners. When we listen, communicate openly, and work together, everyone wins. We genuinely care about our agency partners, and I think they feel that. We don’t see them as numbers—we see them as an extension of our team.

Some of my favorite memories aren’t tied to a single event—they’re the countless moments spent with agency partners and coworkers over the years. Whether it’s attending conferences, celebrating milestones, or simply sharing conversations that strengthen relationships, those experiences remind me why I love what I do. Insurance is a relationship business, and I’ve been fortunate to build friendships that will last throughout my career.

Why Tower Hill?

I chose Tower Hill because I already believed in the company before I ever worked here.

After representing Tower Hill for 22 years, I knew the integrity of the organization, the quality of the people, and the commitment to independent agents. Twelve years later, I can honestly say those reasons haven’t changed.

It’s a company that values relationships, encourages growth, and gives people opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Life Outside of Work

I am a wife of 34 years and a mother of twin boys. I met my husband on a blind date.

I’m also a crafter and a collector. I enjoy creating things with my hands, and my husband and I share a unique hobby: gem collecting. We love discovering beautiful stones and the stories behind them.

But my favorite title isn’t AVP—it’s “Nana.”

Spending time with my two grandchildren, Chloe, 6, and Scott, 4, is one of my greatest joys. They keep me laughing, keep me active, and remind me to appreciate the little things in life.

Looking Ahead

Marketing has become much more collaborative than ever before. Today, we’re not just sharing information—we’re providing insights, education, technology, and strategic guidance. The best ideas often come from listening to our agency partners and working together toward common goals.

My advice to someone interested in a career in marketing or insurance is to be curious, never stop learning, and focus on building relationships. The insurance industry is constantly evolving, creating endless opportunities for growth. Success comes from listening, communicating effectively, being adaptable, and always putting the customer and your business partners first.

This industry is built on trust, and your reputation is one of your greatest assets.

After more than 34 years in the insurance industry, I still believe there’s so much opportunity ahead. I’m excited to see Tower Hill continue investing in innovation while staying true to what has always made it special—its people and its relationships.

The industry will continue to evolve, but I believe companies that put people first will always succeed. I’m grateful that my journey with Tower Hill began as an agency partner and has continued as a member of the Tower Hill family. Looking back over the past 34 years in insurance, I wouldn’t change a thing, and I’m excited to see what comes next.

Onward and upward.
