Hollie Huber

January 2026

My name is Hollie Huber, and I’m the Director of Quality Control & Vendor Management in Claims.

My Role and Background

As the Director of Quality Control & Vendor Management in Claims, I work with vendors and review their work product to ensure they are providing the best services for Tower Hill. Within Claims, our vendors help desk adjusters investigate claims and better understand the scope and severity of a loss. They act as the eyes and ears in the field, some through technology and others through physical inspections.

“Tower Hill and its leadership have been very supportive of me over the years… I’m very appreciative to work for a company where I feel seen.”

My degree is from the University of Florida in Telecommunications, and I originally wanted to make TV shows. I have three CAT adjusters in my family, so insurance has always been close to home. When Mike Smith, our CAT AVP, hired me to be his assistant, I was thrilled. From there, Tower Hill has always believed in me and my ability to take on more and continue growing, and I’m very grateful for that support.

Why Tower Hill

I was hired in 2005, but even then, the claims staff still had PTSD from the 2004 hurricane season. Everyone was trauma-bonded and shared “war stories” of how people stepped up and did the right thing. Employees across the entire company had stories about how they helped in some way. I knew I was somewhere special, and I wanted to be part of it.

Tower Hill and its leadership have been very supportive of me over the years. They’ve provided the resources for me to grow but have never pushed or forced me to take on more than I could handle. I’m very appreciative to work for a company where I feel seen.

My Career Development

Tower Hill gave me the opportunity to participate in a CliftonStrengths assessment, and I learned that one of my strengths is strategic thinking. I find it rewarding to walk through issues or scenarios from another person’s perspective, understanding how they think and feel in their position. From there, I look at how we can help from a quality control or vendor perspective. When we approach situations from multiple angles, we can more holistically understand the problem and resolve it with the best possible outcome.

Earning my CPCU this year is my proudest accomplishment. I wanted to pursue it 10 years ago but didn’t. Two years ago, Kelsey Ugarte, Christine Baker, Travonte Graham, and I studied and completed it together. It was an incredible experience to go through it as a group. We’re now part of the 1% of the insurance industry, and Tower Hill supported us 100%.
