Well it seems that Philippe has seen enough National Geographic documentaries to know that Natures Dance usually ends with the female face eating the male.

So he was prepared when Rina approached and was like “oh not today” and Wind Slapped Rina as she approached. So Philippe rewrote nature’s plan and won out folks.  Anyhow, Philippe has a full stomach and is headed out to sea for now. Nice job brother. Enjoy the victory for the next few days.

Tropical Storm Phillipe forecast

So we are in October folks. And we all know what October brings right? Yup, Caribbean Creepers and Home Grown Sleepers. Well, that could be what we see late next week. There is potential for energy from the Pacific to creep into the Caribbean/Gulf next week that could tighten up in the Gulf. This is still far out, but I think we have a good chance to see another Gulf system shortly. Models off and on, but MJO supports energy pushing in and the Gulf continues to stay hot. So be on the lookout for this Blobbing up on NOAA.

Temperature in the Gulf

That’s it for today. Stay tuned folks. Could start to get interesting again.
